nfrastructure has typically been considered an
Indiana strength. We are, after all, the Crossroads
of America and our manufacturing-intensive
businesses have benefitted from low cost and
reliable energy.
Paying for infrastructure is a constant challenge, however,
and variables in the energy supply (and cost) are outnumbering
constants in today’s world. Solutions, including those
illustrated in the
Indiana Vision 2025
goals, must be a priority.
We offer several varied positive developments on the
ensuring pages:
• Development of a long-desired intermodal hub to facilitate
international trade
• A growing focus on fuel alternatives
• A briefs package that look at nuclear advancements,
transmission additions and energy savings efforts
